As a mentee, start by navigating to the ‘Action Plan’ section of the navigation bar on the left of the screen.

Once there, you will see a table with all of your active tasks and their details. To utilize DZ-AI to write/simplify action plan steps, either create a new task by clicking the orange ‘Add Task’ button or edit an existing one by hovering over the three dots of an existing task card and clicking ‘Edit.’

You will see a popup window prompting you to fill out/edit information about your task. Start by writing a title for your task and coming up with a general description below.

To utilize DZ-AI, highlight the text you would like to enhance, then press ‘Ask DZ-AI’

You will now have access to our custom DZ-AI, which will help you break down your tasks and adjust them for better comprehensibility. You can select from pre-selected prompts, or start by typing your own specific prompt into the text field at the top.

DZ-AI will quickly think and then return a result for you!

When your result is outputted, you can adjust it as much as you need by adding prompts to the ‘Tell DZ-AI what to do next’ input field before inserting it into your task description.

When you are ready to add it to your task (or not), you can choose to either replace the AI’s work with your original highlighted text, insert it below the text you highlighted, or discard it entirely if you aren’t satisfied with it.

Now you should have a much more details and comprehensive action plan task! Always remember to set a status, priority, tag, mentor, and due date for your tasks using the selection buttons at the bottom of the task editor pop-up.

To save your task, click the orange button at the bottom, either ‘Edit Task’ or ‘Create Task’ to make sure you can return to your task!
